How to Solve Various Credit Card Issues?

Please make sure that the following steps are being performed by the Company Employee only.

A. Invalid PAX license (unable to connect PAX device).#

  1. Open the Cashier Module and select Device Settings.
  2. Enter Admin Password.
  3. Click on Credit Card Devices from the Menu bar and press Ctrl + D to open the Date Diagnostics Authorization window.
  4. Open the Passkey Generator, Copy the Store Id, Name, City, and Zip Code from this screen to License Generator tool. Press Ctrl + D to generate the Passkey.
  5. Copy And Paste this Passkey in the Date Diagnostics Authorization window.

  1. Enter Ip Address for Credit Card Machine.

  1. Make sure to Check The Boxes of Integrate Credit Card Processing and Use Signature Capture Device.
  2. Press Test connection.
  3. If the test shows connection successful then, Proceed further else unplug the credit card terminal and follow steps for checking IP address given below.
  4. Save Settings.

B. Check IP address#

  1. Press F + 1 together on your credit card machine.
  2. Enter Password.
  3. Press the Down Arrow Once.
  4. Select Communication and enter Password.
  5. Press the Down Arrow Twice.
  6. Select Lan Parameter.
  7. Click on Ip Address.

  1. Open the Cashier Module.
  2. Click on Misc F7.
  3. Select Credit Card.
  4. Click on Batch Close.

C. Change LAN type (DHCP, Static)#

  1. Press F + 1 together on your credit card machine.
  2. Enter Password.
  3. Press the Down Arrow Once.
  4. Select Communication and enter Password.
  5. Press the Down Arrow Twice.
  6. Select LAN Parameter.
  7. Click on LAN Type.
  8. Choose DHCP or Static Type.

D. Recover Send data#

  1. Restart the Credit Card Machine by Disconnecting the cable and Reconnecting it with the device.

E. Credit card icon disappeared.#

  1. Open the Cashier module.
  2. Click on Setup F3.
  3. Select the Credit Card Device tab.
  4. Check the Integrate Credit Card Processing box.
  5. Click on Save Settings button.

F. Change PAX IP#

  1. Open the Cashier module.
  2. Click on Setup F3.
  3. Select the Credit Card Device tab.
  4. Click on the Test Connection button.
  5. Click on Detect Ip.
  6. Update with new detected IP ADDRESS.
  7. Save Settings.
